Assam’s per capita expenditure on health is the lowest among the eight North-eastern states. It is Rs 1546, according to National Health Profile, 2019 published by Central Bureau of Health Intelligence. Mizoram accounts for the highest per capita health expenditure of Rs 5862 followed by Arunachal Pradesh with Rs 5177 and Sikkim with Rs 5126.
