About the Cartoonist :

Deborshee Gogoi is a wildlife cartoonist from Tinsukia district in Assam. His inclination towards wildlife began from a young age, when he used to explore the forest of Bherjan on his bicycle which is only 2 km away from his home. He believes cartooning is one such creative medium that can attract audience as well as make them laugh and also think about the various environmental and social issues which he/she would have otherwise ignored. Gogoi is presently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Commerce, Digboi College.
