About 40 km off Guwahati, Madan Kamdev is a spectacular archaeological site where tourists can travel back in time to know about ancient Kamrup.  Also known as Khajuraho of Assam, the site is full of archaeological ruins of an ancient temple complex with beautiful images cut on the rocks of the temple walls that showcase the creative genius of sculptors of ancient Kamrup dating back 10th  to 12 century.  Dolly Nath takes nezine.com visitors on a pictorial journey to this archaeological wonder.
